Happy Holidays

The Gift of Health

We and our family at Hebdon Chiropractic are wishing you the best this Holiday Season. We want to remind you that the greatest gift you and your loved ones possess is your health! With that said let us all try and remember to give some time to ourselves. While you may be out shopping, traveling, or putting up decorations – you may forget to give some love to you and your body. There are so many small decisions we can make to honor ourselves. For instance, take a moment to lower your stress by doing something fun and relaxing just for you! Decide to eat less sugar or less salt. Go to a yoga or aerobics class online or in person. Say no to that phone & screen when it is getting close to nighttime hours. Take a bottle of water with you when shopping. Throughout the month our social media will be focusing on: The Gift of Health. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, to follow our monthly focus.

Fall Prevention

During this time of the year, we see an increase in falls. Let us all make sure we are taking the proper precautions to protect us and our families. Make sure that you are using proper lifting technique when unpacking decorations or lifting other things around the home. If you are putting up lights on your home be sure that your ladder is secured and have a spotter. Be sure to keep a supply of ice melt and be careful on the colder days. Equally importantly is to strengthen your legs and back. Simply by increasing activity level each day like with walking or yoga can help.

If you are injured, Chiropractic care can help. Chiropractors offer preventative care as well as relieving any back, or neck pain that you may be experiencing. Preventative care includes keeping all your joints working properly so you gain retain your mobility. This also allows you to stay active so that you can enjoy the holidays properly.

If you want to learn more you can speak to your Chiropractor at Hebdon Chiropractic. We can give you some ergonomic training, as well as prep your body for the Holidays. Stay safe!
